PS5 Pro Enhanced: See list of games that will be improved for the $700 console

The PS5 Pro is real and will be released on November 7 for U$699.99. After Mark Cerny's presentation on September 10, 2024, Sony went to the PS Blog to reveal some of the device's new technologies.

Gamers can expect VRR support, 8K gaming, and Wi-Fi 7. However, PS5 Pro Game Boost and PS5 Pro Enhanced are certainly positive points that stand out.

♦ What is the difference between PS5 Pro Game Boost and PS5 Pro Enhanced?

PS5 Pro Game Boost is a feature that can stabilize or improve the performance of over 8,500 compatible PS4 and PS5 games. PS5 Pro Enhanced is a free update that will be rolled out to a list of "over 50 games" when the console hits retail shelves on November 7.

PlayStation chief architect Mark Cerny revealed at the PS5 Pro presentation that games like Horizon Forbidden West will run at 4K and 60 FPS, in addition to receiving "improvements to lighting and visual effects, as well as hair and skin during cinematics."

The goal for The Last of Us 2 Remastered, like Marvel's Spider-Man 2, is to run at a "super smooth 60 FPS" on the PS5 Pro. Meanwhile, Gran Turismo 7 will feature new ray tracing technologies while playing the game at 60 FPS and up to 8K.

In short, the 50 games planned to receive PS5 Pro Enhanced support aim for a 4K and 60 FPS experience across the board. The update will also bring numerous graphical additions, such as lighting, volumetric effects, and more information flow in general.

The complete list of 50 games has yet to be revealed, but below, you can check out some of the confirmed titles. The list includes exclusives like Demon's Souls, multiplatform games like Alan Wake, and titles released on PS4, such as Hogwarts Legacy.
