"The War of the Rohirrim" will be directed by Kenji Kamiyama. Unlike the live-action films, this new adaptation will be in an anime style.
Warner Bros. has just released the long-awaited first trailer for "The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim," an animation that promises to bring a new perspective to the iconic universe created by JRR Tolkien. Set almost two centuries before the events of the trilogy directed by Peter Jackson, the film is already creating expectations among Middle Earth fans. The anime movie opens on December 15th.

♦ The Story of Helm Hammerhand ♦
The film is set 183 years before the original trilogy and focuses on the story of Helm Hammerhand, the legendary king of Rohan. The plot begins when Wulf, seeking revenge for his father's death, launches a surprise attack against the kingdom. Helm and his people need to take refuge in an ancient fortress that would later become known as Helm's Deep.
The production also has a top-notch dubbing cast. Brian Cox, Lorraine Ashbourne (Bridgerton), Shaun Dooley (The Witcher), and Miranda Otto (Homeland) are some of the names that will voice the characters in this epic journey.
