Realme's new charging technology reaches 320 watts of power and guarantees a 26% charge in just 1 minute!
Realme surprised everyone with the launch of its new fast-charging technology. Called "320W SuperSonic Charge," it can fully charge a smartphone's battery in less than 5 minutes. With this feat, the Chinese brand surpasses Redmi, which presented a 300-watt charger in March 2023.
Realme's new fast-charging technology
As its name suggests, realme's new technology reaches 320 watts of maximum power, making it possible to deliver 100% charge in exactly 4 minutes and 30 seconds.
Surprisingly, the charger can deliver 26% power in one minute and takes less than two minutes to charge above 50%. The tests were carried out on a model with a 4,400 mAh battery.
This adapter, called "Pocket Cannon," has an energy density of 3.3 W/cm3 and is similar in size to Realme's 240-watt charger.
The company also stated that the accessory supports conventional charging protocols, including UFCS (up to 320 W), PD, and SuperVOOC. It also offers two USB-C ports for simultaneous charging, one with 150 watts for the brand's cell phones and the other with 65 watts for compatible devices.

♦ What about security?
To avoid problems due to high charging power, Realme introduced the "AirGap" voltage transformer, which performs a non-contact electromagnetic conversion to ensure that the high voltage remains isolated from the battery during faults (such as circuit breaks), providing reliable charging without risks.
The Chinese manufacturer revealed that this transformer is smaller than the tip of a finger and reduces the voltage to 20 volts to protect the battery. It also helps maintain "exceptional conversion efficiency and thermal management," allowing the technology to achieve a power efficiency of around 98%.
♦ Availability
