You've probably looked through your Google Chrome browsing history and started trying to remember why certain sites were appearing there. This may happen because you were directed to the website by an app instead of browsing in Chrome.
To resolve this issue, Google tweaked Chrome's history to indicate whether an external app visited the site.

I think this is new. Google Chrome history now tells you if a site was visited via a 3rd party app, like Google App or Google News. Neat.

Google Chrome
history now shows if an external application, such as the Google app or Google
News, visited a website.
The post was accompanied by a screenshot of the cell phone's Google Chrome history. Three records show the application used next to the URL of the website visited.
It's a small change that many won't notice right away, but it can greatly improve information management.
So, what did you think of this news?
