With just a few
days left until its debut, the Nothing Phone (2a) Plus gained more technical
details this Monday (29), this time focused on the cameras. The device, which
will arrive as an improved version of the original Phone (2a), will feature a
trio of 50 MP cameras, offering a considerable upgrade in the selfie camera.
Nothing also took the opportunity to release samples of the sensors, which
appear to deliver promising results.

Phone (2a) Plus:
The news was
announced in a post on X (formerly Twitter) and confirmed that the Phone (2a)
Plus will have a pair of 50 MP rear cameras, accompanied by a 50 MP front
sensor. Complementing the publication is the image of the top of the back of
the device, which appears to maintain the design of the standard model at first
glance.
Triple the fun.

Even though the
announcement suggests that there are changes throughout the photography
department, the only notable change between the two phones is the selfie
camera—the original variant adopted a more modest 32 MP sensor. The rest of the
cameras don't seem to bring any new features, although we may see modifications
such as larger sensors or a faster aperture.
Nothing also published some samples of shots taken with the cell phone, and, at first, the results looked good considering the category the cell phone belongs to, including in scenes where there was more challenging lighting. That said, it is common for brands to present controlled scenarios to enhance the photos; the ideal is to wait for the launch of the phone and the publication of more varied tests to check its true capacity.
With a launch scheduled for this Wednesday
(31), the Nothing Phone (2a) Plus promises to deliver a more refined experience
compared to the Phone (2a), starting with processing. The new feature will
adopt the recently launched MediaTek Dimensity 7350 Pro, a variant of the
Dimensity 7200 Pro used in the original device with slightly higher speeds.

12 GB of RAM and,
according to rumors, 50 W charging will also be present, completing the set of
simple improvements. More surprises will likely be revealed, but we will have
to wait for the full announcement to know everything that Nothing intends to offer.
